MAXTECH Wins Overseas Order for Two Multi-functional Marine Deck Cranes, Accelerating Globalization Strategy

2025-10-11

MAXTECH has secured a significant overseas contract to supply two multi-purpose marine deck cranes, marking a strategic breakthrough in the global market for its high-end lifting equipment. This order underscores the company's growing technical prowess in delivering customized, intelligent, and eco-friendly solutions, adding substantial momentum to its worldwide expansion.

Tailored to the client's diverse operational needs, the marine cranes are designed for exceptional versatility. This deck crane's core strength lies in a "one-Crane, multiple-functions" configuration, integrating three interchangeable attachments: a container spreader, a grab bucket, and a cargo hook. This allows seamless adaptation to various tasks: the spreader efficiently handles 20-foot and 40-foot ISO standard containers; the grab manages bulk materials like coal and ore with precise control; and the hook is suited for general cargo such as steel and equipment. By consolidating workflows that typically require multiple machines, this multi-functional design is projected to boost the client's port overall handling efficiency by over 40%, significantly reducing both initial equipment investment and ongoing operational costs.

Technologically, the ship cranes address the challenges of harsh marine environments through integrated smart and green innovations. The electrical system, built on full digital AC frequency conversion and PLC-based intelligent control, ensures millimeter-level precision and reliable performance even in tough conditions like heavy seas and corrosive environments. A standout feature is the front-end energy feedback system, which captures and redirects energy generated during braking back to the power grid. This mechanism is proven to cut operational energy consumption by more than 30, aligning with the International Maritime Organization's (IMO) decarbonization goals and supporting the client's commitment to sustainable port operations.

Production for this order will be handled at MAXTECH's advanced manufacturing base in Nantong. The facility is equipped with smart workshops and a rigorous quality control system, enabling meticulous oversight from core component machining to final assembly and testing.

"This order is a strong endorsement from the international market of MAXTECH's technical expertise and customized service capabilities," said the Overseas Business Director of MAXTECH Heavy Industry. He highlighted the company's extensive experience in structural optimization and intelligent control systems for Marine Cranes. For this project, the technical team conducted dozens of design reviews and finite element analysis cycles to ensure the cranes perfectly match the client's vessel specifications and operational profile. The company is committed to "flawless execution," having established a dedicated project team to monitor production and enforce stringent quality checks—including ultrasonic testing and full-load trials—guaranteeing compliance with international classification standards and client expectations.

Against the backdrop of a global port and shipping industry rapidly embracing intelligence and green technology, demand for versatile, low-consumption equipment like this is rising. MAXTECH's successful bid not only expands its international footprint but also serves as a compelling new case study for Chinese high-end equipment going global. The company stated it would continue to prioritize innovation and enhance its overseas service network to deliver even more competitive lifting solutions worldwide.
